An illustrated biography of Leon Trotsky.
Abstract: an illustrated biography of Trotsky, containing "a unique collection of over 250 photographs, documents and illustrations, many in colour, which cover every phase of Trotsky's extraordinary life." The book, divided into five main sections, "Conspiracy," "Power," "Downfall," "Exile," and "Assassination," takes quite a thorough look into Trotsky's life, from the time he was a child up until his death. It covers his years of imprisonment and exile, and his years of unprecedented military achievement and power, ending with his brutal assassination. Much of the substance matter has been extracted from Trotsky's own written accounts and the book is well written and well illustrated. Though at first glance the book may not seemed to be very detailed, it most certainly is.
